Hi,

I just wanted to share a small 3d printable part I made, which can be used to repair reMarkable pens if the tip support starts breaking away. Hope this helps and can save someone the money for a new pen.

Cool! The marker tip weakness is one of the dumbest, most expensive flaws in any of the remarkable products. It's to the point where they'll pretty much just send you a new marker, warranted or not since it's such a big issue- but this is a great solution!

Making a solid tip might damage the screen, it's better to make nibs that wear out quickly than a screen that wears out, this is basic physics, something is gotta give.

The company spent several years working on the writing expetience, I am sure they studied all the possibilities and adopted the optimal approach.

... If you look again, this is a replacement collar to hold the tips in place, not a replacement tip.

It doesn't look like this is a 3D printed tip, just a collar to go around the collar on the stock tip and reinforce it. My boss broke two stylii (remarkable replaced one) and then we made a 3D printed collar like this for him. So far so good since.
