I’m thinking of upgrading my computer and not sure how much ram I should be getting, I’m currently running on a 32gb ddr4, was thinking to upgrade to 64gb ddr maybe around 7000? And should I do 2 or 4 sticks? Mainly using for gaming and video editing.

Any help would be appreciated

I recommend using 5600 CL28, it performs same as the 6000+ kits. If you look up Linus tech tips DDR5 video you can see all the data. I went with 2 sticks 6500 CL28 64gb and runs great.

I’m doing a similar build (Z790 Formula and 14900) and according to ASUS (both QVL and Live Chat) it’ll support the G.Skill Trident Z5 8000, but on the G.Skill site it only says up to 7600. Anyone have any experience with 8000?
