I am buying a new computer/laptop and am sitting between these two (I do not fancy building from scratch).

https://www.currys.co.uk/products/acer-nitro-5-15.6-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i7-rtx-4060-1-tb-ssd-10253551.html

I can get this for £940 ^^^^^^^

or

I am happy to spend the extra £250 for the Scan PC, but is it worth it?? - the laptop has DDR5 RAM too?

Any help appreciated, I think you can tell I am a complete n00b. I do not REALLY care about the portability factor, its a nice to have for me...

Yeah as the other comment mentioned, wrong sub. Also desktops in general can perform much better than a similar laptop of the same generation but if you need portability that’s an important factor.
