I believe that each HDD PCB contains calibration for the platters and heads and needs to be calibrated if changed as the alignment and mechanical properties are unique for each drive or maybe that's just the case for platter transplants, can't quite remember and that was many years ago.

Yes but a 2TB HDD isn't very expensive these days, so you'll probably be better off just buying another 2TB hard drive than spending nearly as much for a PCB (if you can even source the right one).
