Is it worth partitioning M.2 drive with 1TB storage?

I'm buying a new computer, on the old one 8 years ago I had the HDD divided into two partitions, one for system/programs/music (etc.), the other for games. It helped me with organising and such.

Is it worth doing so in this case? Should I just add a folder for games on the disk where the system is located (and if everything is put on one disk (games, system, movies), will it run as fast as it should and won't it slow it all down?)

I also have 2.5 SSD (also 1 TB) drive, but it's probably not important now, and I don't intend to do partition it or anything.

Lastly I've heard partitioning is not worth it anymore so I'm really confused right now

There’s no benefit to partitioning here

Partitions are useful for having multiple OSs installed at once but just for organizing files just make different folders. If you really want to force separation, say between work and gaming, make two accounts, Yourname and Yourname Work.

partition are only benefit for HDD for performance, SSD dont need such thing.

if you want your stuff separate, you can install everything into a custom folder in the ssd.

There is no reason to partition for just video games
