Apologies if its already be pointed out, but this new show is coming to Amazon Prime Video in the UK on 21st November, so I'd presume its out the same date for the whole anglosphere.

Komiya and Kuro-chan will be in it, along with some others I don't recognise.

Hopefully it'll be better than the disappointment that was Last One Standing series 2.

I never really got Last One Standing, even season 1. They do a bunch of acting and then just force the characters into a scene where they exchange stories that aren't really relevant to the situation the characters are in at all. And then someone decides which story is the worst. It just seems random and slapped together.

I feel like you're focusing WAY too much on the drama part. You can basically ignore all of the scripted drama, it's almost irrelevant.

Here is a trailer:

There are plenty of comedians in it, and it is hosted by Ucchan.

Is this the same as last one standing season 1 & 2 that are on netflix or just a similar named show?

Looks fun! I liked LOS but both seasons were a tad disappointing for me. The story kind of impressed me I think it was mostly the judging that kinda pissed me off.

I've watched CI Thailand and the show is a mix of scripted segments and improv situations, some involving physical challenges. I found it more fun than funny, but still a good watch. Japanese comedians can only improve the formula.

Ah more Japanese content is a good thing in general, I will seek this out.

And I agree, I watched Last One Standing S2 Episode 1 but found it awfully hard going, a lot of inside jokes and the connection between story/improv was jarring as it seemed unrelated. I watched Episode 1 weeks ago now but didn't venture back for Episode 2.

As a side note, I'm going to seek out the Thailand/Philippines versions of the this show to get a taste.
