I would love to see framework create their own laptop sleeve for the 13” and 16” models. I can’t seem to find any that is 16” and 16:10. Also, I think the aesthetic of a gear on a laptop sleeve would be cool. It could also have pockets for unique parts of the laptop like the expansion cards and screwdriver and such. In the meantime, does anyone know where I can get a sleeve for this size?

My inner redneck would get a large bubble wrap envelop and cover it with stickers so that nobody realized what a ghetto creation I made. But I have no shame...In my defense, if Pelican made a tough enclosure that was the right size, shut up and take my money.

I bought a sewing machine and am starting to learn how to do some basic things. I will likely try to make one for the 16 when I get mine next year. If you can't find anything, I could make one for you at cost of final materials (I won't include consumption from mistakes) and shipping. The practice is good enough for me.

I'm also interested in something like this for the FW16. Pockets for extra expansion cards and the screwdriver/spudger is a great idea.

Agreed. The gear looks incredible cool.

For now though, I would recommend a 14 inch laptop sleeve and use the extra side space for the expansion cards.

Currently, I don't know about a good way to store your laptop and your expansion cards in a good way.
