Also took me some months to realize that xD
Itβs the gift that keeps on giving π
I just realized this is probably what the little icon on the space bar means
Does the back light stay lit constantly or only when in use? I myself prefer one that is on all the time.
ThinkPads do it that way too.
I had to tell one of my colleagues about it. He's s cybersecurity expert, highly technical. Has had ThinkPads for 4 years and didn't know it :')))))
I wonder why no one in PC land seems to use an ambient light sensor like Apple to control the backlight, even removed the keyboard button recently because they think that should be enough, which would avoid anyone ever not finding it
seems kinda unnecessary
Same here. Keep forgetting because I turn it off during day to conserve power. Then several weeks or months later rediscover that i dont need external lighting to use my laptop ππ
Minimum requirement for any laptop IMO.
Same reason I haven't bought a Surface Laptop Go, even though that's exactly what I want, except missing this key feature.
this and the finger print reader are the things that actually sold me on wanting to get one (hopefully 16 soon)
