Hey guys, I was wondering if it's possible to have a DuckDNS domain name, while still using a cloudflare tunnel. I'm stuck on changing nameservers since I can't change a duckdns name server.

Are there any tunnelling alternatives? I'm making a matrix (dendrite) homeserver, and I'd like to keep my IP address hidden from others (apart from whatever I'm using to tunnel).

If there's no other option, I'll purchase a domain name (they're really cheap) but that ruins it a bit privacy wise since you can track back the payment but oh well. I do need to forward ports to get the matrix homeserver running, but I assume cloudflare will be able to do that

Thanks for reading!

Well, being able to change the name servers of a DDNS service would be very difficult unless they offer you the option to split the subdomain out.

If you're going to be doing this for a while, why not just buy a super cheap domain on sale? You can pick some domains up for like $1 when registrars are doing sales.
