I know its easy to do props but it really looks like a hospital, the beds and the TVs and even an MRI machine. I know they did use a real airport for some scenes in the airport batsu, I was wondering if the hospital is real [possibly a disused hospital]?

The filming locations are often schools and I think that’s the case for the hospital. It’s been a while since I’ve watched it but it’s neither an active hospital nor a disused building.

They use schools since they have set closed days and the designs are plain making them easier to convert. They’re also large buildings with simple layouts and a lot of big rooms.

They take field trips to other locations relevant to the theme.

The Japanese Wiki has a list of where the Batsu games were filmed - https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E7%AC%91%E3%81%A3%E3%81%A6%E3%81%AF%E3%81%84%E3%81%91%E3%81%AA%E3%81%84%E3%82%B7%E3%83%AA%E3%83%BC%E3%82%BA

(That's a real mess of characters in that URL, but it should load)

In the case of the Hospital Batsu, it was filmed at the Hokuto campus of the Japan Aviation Academy.

Ah, thats so cool. Interesting to read that every batsu is in a different filming location. I definitely thought some buildings were reused.
