It's time to name and shame the self-proclaimed paragons of virtue. Keep it civil, though.

Stories are about those who have been placed in positions of trust, and then abused that trust.

Feel free to add stories of the self-righteous from other walks of life.

New rule: With regard to stories of particularly, but not only, female teachers sexually assaulting students. Any comments similar to "where were they when I was in school" will earn you the right to find another forum.

BENTON, Mo. — Within one week's time, two Kelly High School educators were charged with having sex with students.

In a letter he sent to parents Wednesday, Nov. 8, Kelly schools superintendent Bradley Kolwyck said the district is providing additional counselors at school for staff and students. He is encouraging parents to call the Scott County Sheriff's Office or the Missouri Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline if parents have any information or concerns that "may be related to these or similar matters."

Despite rumors to the contrary, Kolwyck said the district is only aware of two instances of allegations of inappropriate contact.

If this had been a case of a male teacher and female student, the headline would have read, RAPED, MOLESTED, or SEXUALLY ABUSED.

The article actually states that per law in the state the students could have been adults and as such it could otherwise be considered consensual.

Not that I’m defending what happened, but it’s possible that is the actual reason for this language.
