MODERATORS

It's been three threads in the last day: two about gray market Windows key resellers, one with a complaint about freight shipping to unsupported countries. I think in these threads there are valid questions asked and further doubts to be resolved. But if the moderators, who seem to be just a proxy from Frame.Work don't want people to openly discuss anything that displeases them, it might be time to move on to a new sub.

they don't lock critical threads about stuff that isn't illegal stuff, ToS-breaking stuff, or generally people who haven't done their research being morons

Can I suggest r/FrameworkKarens?

As always, you are absolutely free to discuss or criticize anything you please about Framework. The only content we don't allow are the ones explicitly listed in the r/framework rules.

I agree and the mods know me already - they shutted down my discussion arround locking threads on reddit, discussed on discord ;)

OK so stop giving them a hard time. Clearly there are avenues to get the help that you need

What I've seen here and in a number of other subreddits is that people ask the same questions over and over that have already been answered.

Is it that people are unaware of the search feature? I know for sure I've seen a bunch of posts about freight forwarding so I don't get why that is still an issue that needs to keep being brought up.

Personnaly i agree to move to a new sub. I understand we have to follow the reddit rule but i don’t need framework to tell me what to say or not to say. I like the idea of framework giving there opinion like everyone else. But the power they have on this platform should be the same as everyone else also, otherwise, lets move elsewhere.

Typical reddit. Should be full freedom to say whatever you want a along it's not hateful. Especially with how terrible Windows and Microsoft is now, many will be pirating. Trying to hide the discussions won't solve anything.

Ok grey market keys I think locking those threads are better as some are supporting organized crime.

Not claiming moral high ground here, just pirate it...

I must say, I agree to that, they even closed the thread abou random shutdowns, very helpfull
