I'm really enjoying it so far, but there are some technical issues caused by UE5, most notably the worst AA implementation I've ever seen

Anyone playing it on Steam Deck? Curious how it runs.
Playing on the deck so far; other than some hiccups when loading certain cutscenes, it usually runs around 30-45fps on low. Sometimes it goes down to 20ish fps when there's a lot of vegetation.
Not ideal but doesn't feel unplayable to me.
That’s great to hear. Did you have to tweak anything to get it to run? I had to force the demo to run on Proton Experimental to even get it to load. I noticed it also chugged a bit and had to turn the settings down low to get it running acceptably. All trade offs I’m willing to make to play it on the deck :-).
I forced it to use proton 8.0-4 because it didn't run out of the box (tried opening it once and got stuck trying to load the game).
Other than that, I had no problems! No crashes or anything :)
Oh, and I recommend changing the temporal upscaling to the other option, cause thin lines can disappear when you move (makes it harder to see laser outlines).
I also changed the text settings a bit to make it easier to read. Be careful with the "huge" setting for terminals though; some text can get cut off before you have time to read it (and I don't think you can scroll).
Thank you for all of this!
I didn't try it yet on my steam deck but it works great on my main Linux machine
Very different atmosphere compared to the first one, but I'm enjoying it so far (4h in). It's written by Kyratzes, music composed by Damjan... That's all I need :)
I had to look up those names, but I am glad I did - thanks!

That SongWhip link is a nice overview. Just knowing they did the music for the first TTP is enough for me too. That music was so much a part of the game's experience.
