The posh term is to 'absquatulate'.

I just give a general "alright y'all, I'm out" after arriving 5 minutes ago.

And then run

  1. Wander out back 'for some air.'
  2. Hop the fence and go home.
  3. Never speak to anyone again.
  4. Sigh in relief.

I leave when I want, and I almost always ghost if it's an actual party.

If it's a gathering with only my friend group, I will say bye to everyone. But if I don't know more than half the people there before that party, I'm just walking out when no one is paying attention.

Do what they do in the PNW then, just leave without telling anyone.

When you leave last you have to say goodbye to everyone else one by one as they leave though
