I'd be using Wayland unless you have some good reason not to. You will not get good performance out of xorg with multiple monitors. Vsync on Wayland will match your screens refresh rate. The experience is a lot better imo.

Do you possibly have two monitors? If so, Wayland is better for multiple monitors and different refresh rates.

If you're limited to 60hz on xorg you are already experiencing self-imposed latency, arguably worse than you'll experience on Wayland.
Make sure to re-check your display settings outside the game to make sure your refresh rate is still set above 60. I’ve had multiple times where for whatever reason Nobara will reset my refresh rate from 144 back down to 60.
yup, display still at 144hz but i still only see overwatch at 60hz

nope, vsync is the first thing i turn off in any game i play
