I didn’t find any review of meteor lake yet. Perhaps you are referring to 14th gen on desktop, which is still based on raptor lake?

Give competitors' recommendations only where appropriate. If a user asks for Intel only (i.e. i5-12600k vs i5-13400?) recommendations, do not reply with non-Intel recommendations. Commenting on a build pic saying they should have gone AMD/Nvidia is also inappropriate, don't be rude. Let people enjoy things.

CPU Cooling problems: Just like 95C is normal for Ryzen, 100C is normal for Intel CPUs in many workloads. If you're worried about CPU temperatures, please look at reviews for the laptop or CPU cooler you're using.
Yeah, I guess I got it wrong. So 14th gen desktop and 14th gen laptop are completely different chips? I thought meteor lake was just the fancy name for 14th gen, so I thought it cam out already. But I guess everyone is having on the desktop chip. Do you think they are gonna release the specs for meteor lake before the laptop comes out, or will they release together?
Yeah, basically they’re two completely different chips. 14th gen desktop is just a refresh of raptor lake based on intel 7, while 14th gen mobile is meteor lake based on intel 4.I think we will see something before the official release, but I’m not sure. There are already some leaks tho.
I've been looking at the Intel meteor lake reviews since it came out and everyone seems to be hating it.
Wrong. First of all Meteor Lake didn't come out yet and there are no reviews of it, so you are fully mistaken here. 14th gen desktop is Raptor Lake Refresh, and everyone that doesn't own one hates it but the people that do own one love it. My 14900K does 6GHz at more than 100mV less than a 13900K/KS would.
Yes, Dell XPS sucks (regarding performance) and always did. It's a thin-and-light laptop. The one I got has a 3050Ti with a TDP of 35W... It performance is slightly over half the 2060 of my Dell G3 (where GPU gets 70W). XPS is hot and slow. But its light and compact. Physics...
