I am looking for a high performance laptop which is easy to travel and has no issues when editing videos etc using Adobe premiere Pro etc and with external display ( when at home )

Is the m3 only option ? My budget is like £2000 /- also is it worth waiting for black Friday deals ?

Thanks Ya'll

Honestly, Apple kills it in this respect. Power with amazing battery life and portability. Yea I’d say check to see if you can find a Black Friday deal or a sale for M1 Pro/M2 Pro MacBooks if you’re looking for a deal

The Framework Laptop 16 might suite your needs pretty well.

M2 seems very close performance wise, so get yourself one on a Black Friday deal. With discounts try to snag a M2 Pro.

Intel's next gen laptop chips launch in December, but we don't know how they will preform.

Maybe look into getting a refurbished M2 Pro or M2 Max device. Also may be worth waiting to see how Intel Meteor Lake chips perform.

Maybe look into the upcoming Snaodragon Cpu for laptops. I read a rumir that it's supposed to be miles better thsn M2, but I am not really looking for a laptop, do I didn't do any research.

Intel dominates in adobe premiere pro for getting work done. Apple just looks nicer. But in the past, most laptops that need repairs are MacBooks. Apple builds them very tiny and with proprietary hardware. So repairs are more difficult. Windows laptops have more suppliers so hardware failures are rare. More suppliers and builders of windows system means the hardware has been tested and bugs fixed.

Apple has actual hardware issues where chips need to be removed via a hot air station and then replaced.
