I am still on 2.15, recently saw that they added some straight line sketch tools, should I update or stay on 2.15? Seems to be the last reliable software version without any stupid glitches.

Am I right that current software version now has the notebooks not as pages but one big long scroll down? That is a deal-breaker for me.

You can still have additional pages in the new update. The only difference is that when you swipe on the end of the document a button appears to add a new page. But yes there is infinite scroll on each page too, no need to ever use the scroll though if you don’t want to.

I don’t believe the straight line update has fully released yet, it’s only a beta option rn. At the very least mine has updated to include it yet!

the complaints about infinite scroll are keeping me on 2.15 as well

I used to compain, but have grown to love infinite scroll. Helps me keep my meeting notes together, or sections of a report when writing. Only downside is that exporting to pdf results in something that can't trivially be printed, but that's not really a problem for my own use case.

How does it work on the grid page view? I imagine anything that's below the fold on a page isn't viewable there?

Infinite scroll works perfectly well with templates with repeating patterns (grid, lines). However, with more "exotic" templates like "Grid top" and Cornell, things don't work that well: the last part of the page is repeated to the next piece of the infinite page.

To put it more broadly: infinite pages work well when there's some kind of repetition going on in the template, but lack when it comes to non-repeating templates.

The "glitches" of 3.x are mostly just people accidentally triggering the infinite scroll, which is mostly cause of how the touch screen is calibrated to be a bit different to something on a smartphone

Keep your good battery life. They trashed the Wi-Fi and whatever cloud shit it started doing when it's supposed to be asleep.

Yeah, the only way to get the "2 weeks battery life" is to use it for 20 mins a day and on aeroplane mode, I am simultaneously the remarkable2s biggest fan and biggest hater. It's such a great product but it's frustrating that it's not perfect, they were so close

I also noticed the NOT SUBSCRIBED. I hesitated for over 6 months from my purchase date, then I decided to try it. And I do love being able to send from PC to TABLET some PDF that I occasional use for reference (I don't use it as a reader, but its nice.

Also check out the GOOGLE docs/sheets integration. I occasion make some little SHEETS on google, and push it to my tablet where I make some markups on it for the next time I'm there to update it.
