The pun is "sand which is there" to "sandwiches there."
It has the sand which you eat for lunch. Other places have less sand which you eat, so not as many can enjoy lunch. Some places have no sand which you eat and everyone is hungry.
The beach is also good place to go for lunch because the sand which is there, too.
