Some time ago I sat down and created a #flowchart for #dnd especially #dnd5e spell casting to help new players figure out if they can cast a spell or not.

The only thing I really accomplished with it was highlighting the convoluted system that is spell casting in #dnd

But maybe it can help someone! I think it's correct, but it might miss some nuances here and there.

It's odd that there are two outputs for yes. Should there be only one per yes/no?

@Poiar No, sadly, sometimes "Yes" is green, and sometimes "No" is also green, because it allows you to move forward in the flowchart.

As I said, it's a convoluted mess.

@Poiar Ah, you mean at the top? No, that's right, because a spell caster can also use scrolls and magic items.
