This is kinda funny but I genuinely think luuk de jong derves to be in this conversation. 8 goals and 6 assist in 10 games is outrageous.

Me! Nobody rates me at all, but I put in a pretty solid performance at center half every Wednesday evening down at the park.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

but can you do it on a cold rainy night in stoke

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago

Can only do it on cold rainy nights

Me too, I don’t play for a club anymore but I can do many stupid tricks like touzani around the world, lemmes around the world (is this how t he double ATW is called?) and many others like this

I assume you mean this season since you say right now, and my shout is Carvajal. Possibly the best RB in the world right now, at least top 3.

Honestly - De Bruyne.

The guy is one of, if not the best, midfielder - if not best player - in the world and is consistent yet is rarely in conversation about ballon dor.

I think he is often forgotten about as the main reason for Man City being as dominant as they have been.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago

Yes, for sure the best midfielder since xavi/iniesta

Callum Wilson

Maguire is an honorable mention. He's being painted as the worst defender in the world.

John McGinn, played a key part in Villa' and Scotland's current good form but everybody else seems to get the headlines.

Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro. Having those performances at almost 40, is still being underrated by his haters around the internet and the world

the world of soccer is full of hidden gems, so the most underrated title is always up for debate.

Lukaku, he rightfully gets hate for being a cunt off the pitch but that leads to a lot of people forgetting he's genuinely one of the best strikers in the world.

Bruno Fernandes. I think he's in the same situation as Bellingham was.

Put him in Real or City and you'll unleash the monster

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago

Jude Bellingham. He plays for some club in Spain I believe. Never even hear about him and he plays decently. /s

Gedson Fernandes

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago

I won't exaggerate and go as far as saying he's super underrated, but Gavi has developed a reputation amongst many as a skilless passion merchant, but he is (with frightening consistency) showing himself to be an excellent ball-winner in midfield, wonderfully press-resistant, and can deliver first class passes in the final third - he's coming on tonnes this season.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago

I don't know just how underrated he is, but Dani Olmo. I know that he is injured (came back from an injury last game and is injured again) and I too hate the RB clubs, but one has to admit that he is doing insane things for Leipzig. Goal against Bayern comes to mind, but really he is just that good basically every match I've seen him play in. Great player.
