Dont know what the fuck that first 15 mintues of the 2nd half was, returned from the halftime completely switched off showing no resemblance of the team that was clearly better in the first half. Lucky not to concede a penalty but still a very strong comeback

what happened here? last time i checked the score it was 2-0.

like...WHAT?

Weird seeing you outside of the league sub but let me answer your question: Aberdeen defended well for the most part, went 2-0 up from a couple of chances and continued attacking instead of turtling. We were very lucky to walk away with the win, the non awarded penalty was atrocious but the comments about corruption I've seen in here are laughable, Greek teams have been taking the brunt of bad refereeing decisions the whole year (just yesterday AEK were wronged by the ref in their game vs OM). All in all a very sloppy game from both teams.

What's the point in VAR

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago

Aberdeen player hacked down, legs taken from him, clear as day for all to see...not even a VAR check.

Aberdeen defender briefly steps on top of a PAOK player's foot on the very edge of the box, right on the line...VAR check and penalty.

Once again a Scottish team on the wrong end of bafflingly inconsistent and incompetent officiating. Aberdeen were completely robbed of three points there.

Fuck UEFA. If I was half as bad at my job as these officials I'd already be on the dole.

2-0 down 15 minutes into the second half was so undeserved based on how the first half played out. Having come back from that I feel the loss is unfair for Aberdeen.

What a fucking comeback though. Big away win in awful weather conditions, one of those matches that properly galvanize a team. I think if Konstantelias scored that chance early on we could have cruised to victory but it was worth it for the emotional rollercoaster.

and the fucking wind, head-wind for us in the first half only for the wind to turn in the 2nd half giving us head-wind again ffs

It doesn't happen often, but I love seeing international people's tears when we win in European competitions. This thread has me bricked the fuck up. Hope we get some more controversial wins this season 🙏

Nobody should ever talk to us about European penalties. Ajax shot 3 penalties that night in Amsterdam in that 3-3

It's okay when Greece gets shafted, it's not okay when they don't get everything their way. waaa waaa ΠΑΟΚΑΡΑ

Good ol times when Ajax shafts us to get into the champions league and no one cared. Then now suddenly everyone cares about VAR consistency.

Didn’t know that Scotland had so many salt mines

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

This won’t bring Constantinople back sadly

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago

Zlatan muslimovic sorted us out in 2010, we don't care

All you Aberdeen fans in the match threads will make the 6-0 in Toumba sooo sweet. I'll be there and it'll be sold out, as always

Sad time for the west Macedonians

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago

Actually yes. It's a bad result for us. At least we're through.

Most Scottish way to lose a European game ever

Aberdeen haven’t actually been too bad this campaign. For me came up against better sides than Hearts have in every single round this year (Håcken > Zurich, HJK > RFS, PAOK > Basaksehir, Frankfurt > Fiorentina - obviously talking about at the time they played Aberdeen/Hearts) just been extremely unlucky. Whereas Hearts were absolutely fucking woeful in almost every game and utterly embarrassed themselves
