"On July 6, at 2:53 p.m., the Rescue Service received a message from medical workers that three people were injured by lightning on Mount Hoverla, namely on the blue route, including a girl approximately 11 years old.

Mountain rescuers from the search and rescue departments of the city of Yaremche and the village were immediately dispatched to the scene. Vorokhta

Arriving at the scene, the rescuers found the girl and the man already without signs of life. The woman in a state of shock was escorted to the Zaroslyak post by other members of the group of tourists and handed over to medics," the State Emergency Service said in a statement.

I wonder how did the rescuers find them, as there's no cell network in a few km radius around the mountain. I was there one time and found this fact hilarious and not worth returning.
