Does anyone know what you would call this style?

Micro realism. They don’t age particularly well but they look great until then. Could always cover over when they start to fade. Here is a cool studio I follow if you want some inspiration https://www.instagram.com/coaltattoostudio/

What about this style doesn't age well?

Small, fine details, narrow and light line work, it tends to fade and blur with time.

Very thin lines

Thanks for letting me know. Super cool, very aesthetic, but you're right, there's no way they stay legible for 10+ years.

I don't have tattoos nor will I probably ever get one (skin disease), but I would also like to know. This looks sick, reminds me of Apashe's newest album covers.
