For anyone who uses mealie, do you know of a way to get rid of, disable, or limit the register button? I want to publicly expose my application but I don't want random people to have the ability to register to my application. I only want people I invite (like family or trusted friends) to have access.

Just to have another rule that is only randomly enforced? Pointless. And i believe a rule about lazy posts already exits but nobody gives a fuck about it.
