Where can I find info or guides on how to properly moderate a community? (slrpnk.net)

I started my first community and it was immediately spammed by a crypto bot. It took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out how to block that account.

If I'm going to take on the new responsibility of moderating a group, I'd like to know the rules and tools of how to do it properly.
