Ddr5 with older Ryzen series is not going to work. There could be a valid reason, but why a g version cpu if you want to buy a gpu anyway?
Buildapc
Hi! thanks for the input I just realized that haha :P I chose G version simply because its cheaper than without G one. The next available option for me is : AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.5GHz Processor which is 161.45 usd The 4600g is 119.46 usd so there a difference 42 usd. That's all So what do you think about the gpu choices I will only be playing on 1080p native resolution
Looks great with one small comment.
4600G is a model with integrated graphics. Unless you intend it as a backup for when graphics card goes down, you might be able to get a slightly cheaper model, or a better performance model for the same price?
Depends on how the price list is for your area
Yes I just cleared that in my above comment
Try and stretch to a Ryzen 5600 if possible
I see, thanks for the input!
This is totally not the intent of buildapc, but if you’re willing to go ITX, I’ve been meaning to sell some “old” parts through the hardwareswap Discord. If you’re interested (and in USA :)) it may save you some money to go for a higher end GPU.
I have:
- Asrock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming ITX/ac. Works with up to 5000 series CPUs with a BIOS update
- Ryzen 3400G (about 10-15% slower in CPU benchmarks)
- 2 x 8 gb 3200 MHz Samsung B-die RAM
What’s the pricing of the Intel Arc in your part? I have one in my recent build and am very happy with it so far, but I’m not a real intense gamer.
Also are you sure you can use DDR5 memory with that motherboard and processor?
Edited. INTEL ARC A750 8GB GDDR6 GRAPHICS CARD is 257.37 usd and INTEL ARC A770 16GB GDDR6 GRAPHICS CARD is 400.26 usd
