basically the posts on whenthe are usually GIFs with a creative caption. the GIFs could be either the most commonly used stuff or something self-made, but the main focus is in the caption of the GIF. I remember there also being a guideline of having the captions be baked into the GIF and be of the same format {like in my post, for example.}. the subreddit also had self-made lore {such as the whole "being chased by the immortal snail" hypothetical.} but I never got into that lol.
