I updated from Beta 5.3 to stable and Google Play System update fails to update from July 2023. Has anyone successfully updated to a more recent version? I'm running a 7 Pro.

Edit: It appears to have been fixed server-side. I successfully updated to September 2023.

I also have a 7 Pro and updated from 13 to 14 yesterday. When digging around in the settings it said my Google Play System was out of date, it downloaded and required a reboot. I checked again and it's still out of date but with a different update size. I did this a few times before realising it wasn't working. I'm on August 2023.

Edit: It is fixed now :)

Original post: I updated my Pixel 7 Pro to Android 14 yesterday. Today, I noticed that the Google Play system update for September (65MB) is available, but it fails to download. This issue was also present for updates in August or July, if I remember correctly. Google eventually resolved those issues, so for now, we'll have to wait for them to address this one.

It looks like it's just the deployment that isn't finished yet (probably depends on the geography too). My Google Play System is still at the August version.

EDIT: I just got the September update. So it indeed just needed time to propagate to all devices/geographies.
