Honestly, I feel like people are going after the wrong issue.
Russia had a sudden uptick in people who've experienced violent combat. US history shows that these people are, on average, less stable and more violent than usual.
Crime enforcement is going down, but a large part of that is because crime is going up.
It is just an opinion article without any meaningful statistics from country fighting Russia.
