Though I haven't had one in ages, "Cuban Sandwich" popped into mind first for some reason. Maybe because the next more exotic sandwich I'm aware of is a PB&J. Hopefully the ideas here will expand my world a bit.

Croque madame, but it is a bit more effort than your regular stack
24 hour club!
Tuna on fkn white toast, lettuce and cheese if your so inclined. Simple but effective.
Also my dad makes really good ham sammies. There is literally nothing special about them. Bread, ham, mayo. BUT he sprinkles a tiny hit of oregano on them, and uses some diabetic whitish bread and DAMN. I dunno why they're so damn good. Maybe its the love? Or maybe it's cause if I'm eating my father's ham sammy, I'm probly in a situation where I'm starving lol.
Peanut butter, banana, raisin, and honey, grilled.
I rarely make this one for obvious reasons, but my son invented the lasagna sandwich, which is exactly what it sounds like, and is better than you think it is. Try it next time you have leftovers.
Are the obvious reasons the mob of angry villagers?
No judgement from me I mean, that sounds delicious. Also, my childhood* featured a banana sandwich composed of: white bread, sliced bananas, and mayo, so I'll be right there with you getting run out of town.
*and not-so-childhood
Croque madame is what I'm ordering if it's on the menu. I like a sandwich you can eat with a fork, and it goes great with a bloody mary.
The French discovered you could top a sandwich with a fried egg and ever since the game has never been the same
I like your style and I appreciate your sandwiches and drink accompaniment

Toasted baguette Spicy mayo Cucumber slices Cilantro Asian flavor marinated chicken or pork Pickled julliened carrots Top of the baguette and spicy mayo

Oh I love me a Bahn Mi
The city I moved away from last year has a kickass Vietnamese restaurant, I miss it so much
Bread sandwich. It’s a piece of bread in between 2 toasted pieces of bread.
I was watching LGR Foods for inspiration on making sandwiches. I wish that channel would get more content. Lol https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCz9uUFDhsPYii-ZihoKsbPg
