The Choke Beetle, far and away. i can see it becoming a part of my regular loadout in team play.

If i were any good with a hand crossbow, my opinion might be different, but i suck with it, and never take it.... so the choke drone it is!

I am just jumping between obsessions at the moment. The drilling is so versatile! The fire bolts are great utility and I kind of turn into a madman running around burning everything (including, but not limited to, friendly hunters).

My latest obsession is the UpperMatt. It's pricey, but imo so worth it. Don't even use the shotgun, it's just a solid range weapon to go with dualies or the shorty. I did take it with the dolch precision once and felt like a god. A touch expensive for an everyday load out though.

I thought id be a drilling fan, but i have hardly used it. However, im more of a bush wookie, so tend to go for scope and a pistol. If i were more of a pusher, i think the driller would be the beans.

As prophesied, the choke beetle has been very handy ... Especially as chaotic as the post patch event maps have been.

The drilling is definitely more of a close range weapon. Dum dum and buckshot are amazing. Though the standard rifle ammo does have decent muzzle velocity for some range. Like having a Romero with two Springfields on top 😄

Still, I can understand how it wouldn't be as useful for long range combat. I have found the UpperMatt to be useful at range, but I think it's because the MV is closer to the Martini and I'm used to leading that hah.

I don't really use the beetles, but the choke beetle does seem like it would be very useful.
