Hey there, I'm currently in the design phase for a new addition to my homelab rack and I need some recommendtaions. This new server will primarily be used as a compute node while my 12 bay Rosewill (RSV-L4412U) is currently operating as my NAS. I am a big fan of my NAS's form factor and spatious interior so I started looking at the Rosewill RSV-R4000U 4U Chassis. It seems perfect for some larger/taller hardware like an ATX power supply/motherboard and a Noctua NH-U9S Cooler without taking up as much depth. First question is, is this chassis a good choice given my use case, and my second question is: Are there any mods/3rd party accessories that would allow me to remove the drive bays/punch-outs on the front face and replace them with some apparatus that improves the cooling throughput? I don't imagine cooling being a major issue with this build but it would be nice to reclaim some of the space in the front.
