I think this is the kind of thing Fujimoto would do. Just showing these worshippers the very mundane nature of Denji.
That's fair. On that other hand, I think it would also be very Fujimoto to, even upon (finally) witnessing Denji, make everyone consider him the imposter. Hell, people might even end up hating him for killing "the real Chainsawman" lol.
