I heartily reccomend LiftOff, until I can get Slide into a useable state :)

They have sure as hell raised the bar for what classes as "useable", anyway

We'll have a wealth of apps soon (I know a lot of people are excited for Sync). I am using Jerboa and can't decide if it's worth switching only to switch again in a few weeks or months.

I'm also using Jerboa and I'm pretty happy with it until now. I used to use infinity for reddit in the before times and I don't feel Jerboa is lacking much functionality.

Can someone sell me on something else?

I use Liftoff and that seems to be OK. It and the web interface will do fine until Slide and Sync are ready for prime time.

I just checked it out, and it's fast. +1. The one thing I need is for the title to be at the top of the cards though. I recommend Thunder for that, though it is a bit bare bones.

I'm excited for the future of these apps!

I have been trying more apps recently, and the web app "Voyager" (wefwef) and the app "Connect" from Google Play seem to be the best in my experience so far. Voyager even has a tool to migrate subreddits to Lemmy alternatives, so even if you don't end up using the app you can still get some value out of it.
