France, Germany, the US, and UK are all issuing official statements in full support of Israel's attack, and the US is moving some naval vessels to the ME to defend its little brother. Only China and Russia are going to oppose them on the UN security council.
How's it going "enlightened democracies"?
None of them want Iran to have nuclear weapons. They are probably fine with Israel doing the dirty work.
Countries allowed to have nuclear weapons (or energy) check:
Countries allowed to have nukes:
- countries that already have them
- countries that make them before someone stops them
Don't forget China, India, and Pakistan all have nukes.
It's like working on a nintedo fan game, only announce it once you're done.
"If we support Israel with their very own holocaust we'll be even for what we did right?"
Two Holocausts don't make a right.
Fuck Germany for this and fuck Israel.
Iran is illegally building a nuclear weapon for illegal self defense and Israel is doing a Jack Bauer to stop them.
Obviously, Germany - a country with a long and storied history of liberal democratic values and anti-war principles - will come down on the right side of this conflict. There's no way they'd just align with a Middle Eastern Imperialist power looking to dominate and ethically cleanse a region of its native people.
Albert Einstein was 100% correct. I am ashamed of the politicians in Germany who fail to learn the lessons from WWII.
In 2023, Germany said: “Confronted with an openly aggressive Russia, the importance of nuclear deterrence has increased for many states, including for [Germany].
Germany is one of five NATO members to host US nuclear weapons on its territory as part of a nuclear-sharing agreement. The German air force is assigned approximately 15 B61 nuclear bombs, which are deployed at the Büchel air base.
In 2016, Germany voted against the UN General Assembly resolution that established the formal mandate for states to commence negotiations on “a legally binding instrument to prohibit nuclear weapons, leading towards their total elimination”.
Germany: Nuclear weapons are good actually
Also Germany: Ban nuclear power return to burning coal
Guess they don't like nuclear if it doesn't involve killing people
