I mean, as a DM you know you're ready for acting when you maintain players immersed after one cast Speak with Plants.

There's a number of scrolls you can find for it. Or you could bring along a party member with it.
Druid
There are a significant number of classes that can get it. Nature clerics, wizards of course, warlocks can get it permanently. I think even barbarians get access with the right subclass.
