Imagine tipping 22%. I tip 17% and it's probably too much. Let's return to 15% or 10%> the point of a percentage is it goes up with the bill cost so restaurant charges more tipped staff get more. Better yet tip a regular $2-$3 so fancy restaurant staff who don't work any harder don't make more than Denny's waiters.
