Here is the mid-week piñone :) hope you enjoy!

Instructions (best on desktop):

  1. Solve the grid using the clues provided. The direction of the word is indicated by the number around the grid (so some words are backwards).

  2. After you complete the grid, click the pencil icon tab at the bottom to switch over to solve the anagram. The title is a hint to the anagram!

3:09, the scramble got me, I kept trying to spin doctor it.

Fun crossword idea. Definitely going into my daily rotation

Some mobile ux problems:

entering letters is annoying. Not sure how to solve it, though.

In the word-solve stage, it should allow clicking on the letters to place them

Generally, it needs a reset/clear button

This was from a couple of days ago. Every answer seemed to fit to me but it wouldn't accept it as correct. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

The grid is completely correct! The issue you're hitting is that there is another part to the puzzle. You'll have to forgive it being in the early stages at the moment, because this is not clear at all. After you solve the grid, you click on the pencil icon at the bottom to move to the unscramble part - where you take all the letters in the completed grid to solve the final word or phrase!
