a scene with flashing lights induced photosensitive epileptic seizures in children across [Japan]. Over 600 children were taken to hospitals.

I had heard some rumors about kids getting seizures during a Pokémon episode way back when, but TIL how widespread it was. Holy shit.

First I was like meh, an article about a single Pokémon episode? But that was actually I quiet interesting read!
