Well no politician would really give us back that money, regardless of political spectrum. lol

Then why post this non story?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

I didn't write the article. I thought it was interesting and posted.

So we can see what the monkeys on the other side are saying.

Do you wanna check that statement? What are you implying?

I'm biracial. My mother is black and a conservative. Check yourself before you wreck yourself, friend.

Explain.

That Fox News hosts belong in a zoo.

Monkey refers to the conservative part of your pedigree. Conservative is a choice to be a subhuman lacking in empathy and is therefore fair game.

Explained.

Choose better words, friend.

[–] stringere 1 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Wasn't my word, I was explaining that someone else used the word monkey and that there were no references to race. Agreed it was a poor choice of word, but I'm also not letting someone who is already trolling and arguing in bad faith try to pull the race card and suddenly cry victim.

I’m also not letting someone who is already trolling

What have I posted that is trolling? I posted a link to a conservative article to a conservative community. That's about as far from trolling as you can get.

Please give me an example of trolling.

Thanks, friend!

You won't get that money back they will get that money back they as in Trump and his cronies. Just remember right now you might feel like you're on the winning side but he only cares about himself at some point you too will be expendable to him.

Just like when the Democrats were in office. Friend, I don't trust either side with my money.

It's why I proudly voted third party. :)

[–] [email protected] 2 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

Still a false equivalent. The Democrats are spineless morons but at last most of them think you have a rite to exist. vs the majority of Republicans who think you should still be a slave because one parent was the wrong color.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 14 hours ago

Um, my mother is black. And she's a conservative. So what you are saying is not true at all.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 13 hours ago

Do not refund any money that DOGE is finding, use 100% of it to pay off federal debt. Sending Americans a check can cause inflation.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

That almost offsets the billions in taxes that we'll lose.

[–] [email protected] -1 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Did illegal migrants pay taxes though?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 15 hours ago* (last edited 15 hours ago) (1 children)

Billions. With a B.

In 2022, undocumented immigrants paid $75.6 billion in taxes, which was a significant contribution to the U.S. economy. This includes:

  • $46.6 billion in federal taxes
  • $29.0 billion in state and local taxes
  • $22.6 billion to Social Security
  • $5.7 billion to Medicare
  • $25.7 billion in Social Security taxes
  • $6.4 billion in Medicare taxes
  • $1.8 billion in unemployment insurance

And then bear in mind that each one of those contributions practically counts double since they are not entitled to any of the services paid for by those taxes
