Yeah. Reddit just leaves a bad taste in my mouth now. I feel like I'm using Facebook when I'm there.

Yes I defiantly will.

All we need is enough people to feel alive. We shouldn't need an entire country's worth of a crowd in order to feel fulfilled.

I found the UI a little unintuitive, but with third-party app developers starting to make intuitive and better performing apps, I’m definitely staying! Recommend Memmy if you’re on iOS and don’t already have an app!

First comment here! Seeing the rapid growth of Lemmy/KBin/Fediverse in general gives me a lot of hope for this site. I hope the momentum continues and I definitely plan on sticking around.

YEAH love the community interactions here!

I’ve found my new home. I’m here to stay 😊

If things keep improving and something better doesnt come along. If apollo ports to use lemmy I'll live here lol

It needs to improve, as it stands it has some catching up to do. There are some annoying bugs and lack of features, but I'm willing to give it some time. Reddit is pushing towards self destruction and I have no plans to go down with that ship.

To be determined:

Waiting for more polished mobile apps, and have to see if this initial swell of users will keep the momentum.

Planning to stay!

Already migrated to mastodon, so this was the next step, unfortunately forced on me by reddit's actions

I will but I would like it if I could be signed into an account that keeps me updated to the comments from all the linked sites. Did they change that yet? Because last I was on here I was told that if I wasn't signed up on lemmy.one then I wasn't going to see all the comments

You get notifications to the comments from all the sites, provided that you used one account to make the comments.

Absolutely, I love the project and the whole Fediverse idea, I'm willing to support it both as a user and as a developer

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Yes I think I will. There's still a lot to explore and I like that it's less toxic.

I will when more reddit communities migrate here from the declining reddit

I will be staying on Lemmy, but also on Reddit (albeit decreasing my usage)

Some communities I'm on haven't recreated a community here and need more advanced tools to do so (scheduled posts, better moderation etc) or are too small.

Once Boost quits working it'll be Lemmy full time.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 years ago

Yes, so far really enjoying it! Hopefully some of the more niche communities start getting users.

Yes. It feels like Reddit when I was in middle school. Less shit.
