Rules for thee, not for me.

And we just take it. We concentrate on who other people love, what they identify as, or what they look like instead of look upwards at the boot crushing us.

Sometimes I think we deserve it for being so easily distracted and controlled, but that's a feeling that has to be suppressed.

I don't think that we do. We've (I'm talking about the MENA here btw, cant speak about the west due to me not knowing much abt its situation) been under a straight century of oppression and we can't imagine a life other than this. At this stage we're living in how Feudal Europe lived, with absolute monarchies and practically feudalism. It's hard to imagine a life better for yourself when this is all you know. Even I, despite knowing my own conditions don't really know what i want in life.

Privacy is a key in unlocking collective consciousness. It reminds me of 1984 where you almost never see anyone criticize the Party, many people actually support it. But clearly to us, they live in horrible conditions. They don't know, because they know nothing else.

So what happens when some pirate uploads copyright material? Who is responsible for opting out? The copyright holder?

feels like the lawmakers suddenly believe piracy is in the nations interest cause rhey are panicing on AI stuff they don't understand.

I'm quite impressed by how the UK has managed to have one of the governments with the most dog-shit takes you could imagine over such a long time. Congrats, gents.
