This is one of my favourite pieces of history. The largest strike in Canadian history, and a proud piece of Winnipeg history.
In fact, Winnipeg has multiple monuments to the general strike, and a large history of unions and rebellion (I'll make some more posts about Louis Riel and the Red River Rebellion in the future if y'all enjoy this).
