SUCK IT MICHAEL OLIVER

[–] MHPengwingz@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Can the red card be appealed cuz that's harsh

[–] sensiblepuffin@lemmy.funami.tech 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It's possible we might for strategic reasons. I believe that if we appeal the suspension is delayed, so we might be able to use Miles while they review it. But I have no hope of it being overturned when the muppets looking at it are the same fuckers who gave it in the first place.

Actually... It's City next. We could definitely use MLS even if Saliba is fit.

Watching this City team now we should give them hell, but it's us...

It's the PGMOL*

[–] ThePowerOfGeek@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Maybe. But you know what PGMOL is like. 99.9% of the time they circle the wagons and back their own up, no matter how stupid the decision was.

Uncle Wrighty just ranted about it...he never really films something specifically just to rant, it's atrocious

The fact that it took multiple second yellow offenses for Oliver to send off that Wolves player, yet Myles gets sent off for a non-cynical offense, is pathetic.

I know part of it was because he was considered the last defender and it was seen as a professional foul. But he wasn't really the last defender, and you could see from his reaction that is it wasn't calculated. He went for the ball and got it wrong. A yellow was definitely warranted. But a red was harsh IMO.

Extremely harsh, it was a clip

He wasn't at all the last defender... The counter attack had just begun and there were players clumped all around. On top of all of that, yeah, he didn't hit his ankle, he hit the toe.

I'll get ratings form up later, D&D

I started playing 2 weeks ago, it's been good. I'm playing a human warlock whose pact is with a sword

My group is starting a 5.5 playthrough soon. I'm gonna play a monk who heals people by punching them.

[–] Astrealix@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Oo, fun, I've not looked at the new rules.

[–] sensiblepuffin@lemmy.funami.tech 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

There's a bunch of changes. Would not recommend switching until you're starting a new campaign/module

[–] Astrealix@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

I don't know if I'll even do so afterwards, just cuz I'm used to 5e already.

[–] Aesecakes@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

I was also just reminded that Oliver gave 2 yellow cards in the same passage of play to fast Gabi, a couple of years ago at the same ground. We also won 1-0, that day.

Massive kudos to the lads for keeping their chins up and persevering. That was a deft finish by Calafiori too.

Same old Arsenal, always cheating

This is the man that didn't want to embarrass his mate on the pitch and correct him..he can fuck right off

[–] MHPengwingz@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

An actual ref (and lawyer) Christina Unkel's opinion that it's an error on pitch and VAR. Smh she usually agrees with on the pitch decisions, Oliver really done fucked up.
