Just bare naked ball-washing:

[Trump] has proven himself to be the only figure in modern history capable of reversing our nation’s decay and restoring America to greatness, and he must be given the time necessary to accomplish that goal

At this rate, someone's going to have to blow him on the House floor to prove they're the most loyal mutt.

As if he would not die of old age.

He will live forever, thanks to the miracle of Disney Animatronics.

Would be funny if it passed and then we had 3 terms of Ilhan Omar right after Trump.

Or, you know, just don't do this? Why would you want this, it's literally a power grab. As someone from a country (Netherlands) where our prime minister was in charge for about 12 years, you don't want this. The government did not achieve much during this time except the classic tax cuts to businesses and wealthy people and the average welfare of our society has tanked. I (partly) blame them for all the crazy violence that's been going on here now as well, they stripped so much from the education and arts budgets that young people often resort to more criminal behavior now and then they try to solve this with petty laws which make no sense. They're even talking about people needing a permit to have a dog, ridiculous micromanagement.

Besdies that, our country has only moved right since. If you introduce this and Trump was eventually gone then people might vote even more right (JD?). We went from a right wing liberal to a far right extremist who hates Muslims and any other sorts of immigrants. He became the biggest party and he still managed to finesse it somehow that's he's technically not part of the government so any blame for failing does not fall on him, which is ridiculous...

I'm sorry but enough people in this country don't know how to care for a dog, it's well-being or of those immediately surrounding their dog. If it needs a permit for them to stop irresponsible dog owners, I'm actually for it.

Unless it's just a fee you pay and boom, you have the permit. Then it's just secretly more capitalism instead of safety and regulations, which is what we're very good at in NL. Got any more info about the permit talk?

You're speaking logically and not one of these idiots runs on logic. They run on fear and hatred of differences and the lust for money and power. As an American that saw what this country could do when we were great ... I fear for everyone and everything right now.

republicans may have gotten every area of the government but amendments take 3/4 majority I believe.

2/3 house & senate OR 34 (2/3) state legislatures can request a constitutional Congress to amend
