Accidentally got this on my balls once. 0/10 do not recommend.

It's fine to jerk off with, just don't get it on your balls like this guy, and you'll be fine.

accidentally got it on someone else's balls once. 3/10 don't recommend but after making sure he was ok I laughed for approximately a week

I find it mildly funny that people in my home country (TW) rave about China-Oel and buy loads of it when they travel to Germany, while people there probably have never even heard of it, and prefer using Tiger Balm which is super common in Asia.

You put the balm on?! Who told you to put the balm on? I didn't tell you to put the balm on!

I started a physically demanding job after a period of inactivity. This post was inspired by real life events.

Yep. Tiger balm for my dad's back pain and tiger balm + spooning for colds. As a kid, I hated it! Lol

I feel like i must use it wrong. I get no benefit from this and similar products. It just burns on top of whatever hurts. So now I have two things that hurt...

That's part of the process for the heat rubs. As far as I understand, it acts as an irritant to the skin tissue above the sore area, diverting focus and masking symptoms so you can relax your body a bit.

Sort of the same effect as fixing an itchy bug bite by pressing your fingernail into it. The itch receptors get backtracked and the brain focuses on the new pain. Maybe. Or it focuses on both equally and makes everything worse.

Well at least I'm not using it wrong. Just not getting the beneficial side of things.
