My work recently renovated their bike room to have nicer bike racks and a locker room so I decided to try it out! Definitely looking forward to commuting by bike even if just a few days every week.

I wouldn’t normally be hauling a cardboard box around but I had a package to ship.

Love that bar tape! Surlys are gorgeous

Thanks! I just got the bike in the last month and I definitely love how it looks. Rides like a dream too.

Nice bike! I know it's frowned upon in some circles, but do yourself a favour and get a kickstand -- they come in super clutch, especially when you're digging through your pannier.

Haha I would but the friend I bought the bike from is definitely is a part of those circles. I don’t know if he would forgive me if I took his custom built bike and immediately slapped a kickstand on it. That or I’ll just do it and never tell.

You bought it, it's yours. Do what you need

I remember Surly having a warning about kickstands on bikes that weren't built with them in mind. Also, for the traditional kickstand arrangement, you need to be lucky to be able to dig through a pannier without the whole thing toppling over.

My previous daily driver was a cargo bike where the kids could climb on it like a playground and it wouldn't fall over. I'm definitely missing it on my current bike and I'm thinking about a clickstand kind of thing.
