Conservatives desperately want us to be shunned and excluded; tirelessly do everything in their power to keep us from being "normal."

If they refuse to accept a world with us in it, then there is no world for anybody. If they want to force us out, society will reflect their naked brutality and chaos. They will never win because we will never stop existing, no matter how much they try to exterminate us. We exist in the fabric of every culture, every nation, and every family. All they can accomplish is temporary evil, because they can never win. It's in the nature of conservatism to lose.

As a machinist that also happens to be a trans woman, the last bit of this is incredibly spot on. I've said no to a lot of business due to the customer wanting to take some kind of tour of my shop beforehand, to which I said no to simply to stay safe both in professional reputation, and physically.

I’m willing to bet this is Amazon. Because I work in production and last May I was hired to light something that turned out to be their June commercial—which is the kind of shit I try to avoid when I can. It felt…gross as fuck. So exploitative and we could all hear the LGBTQ creators they hired lamenting how shitty it felt between takes.

I'm going to guess Lowes, Home Depot, or Ace Hardware. Shame.

Ace is franchised

Was really having trouble wrapping my head around this until I realized that there's a continuous sentence that crosses over the post barrier. I.E. the second post is not the start of a new sentence.
