Rocking an x1 nano 1st gen here and it's the perfect ultra portable laptop. I slapped Linux on it immediately and I love the damn thing. Zero complaints from me! If I wanted a laptop that I could upgrade, etc like other fan favorite thinkpads, I wouldn't have got a nano. The nano is perfect for web browsing, watching some videos and some text editing (of course I use vim. Im pretty much a walking stereotype).

Would highly recommend a used 1st gen if you don't want to drop top dollar for the latest edition!

That's my main machine as well. Works incredibly well with Fedora Workstation. It's RHEL-certified even.
